Mountain train is highly recommended to visit. It takes 1.5 hrs from Luzerne or Zurich. Approaching from Vitznau is perfect if anybody wants to enjoy Mountain train.

If you are on the top of the Rigi you have a great view over the lakes Vierwaldstättersee as well as the Zugersee and some other smaller lakes, such as the Lauerzersee, Sarnensee and Sempachersee. You can see the Alpes from the Berner Oberland to the St. Gotthard and even further to the East. It is great for a trip and when you are in Lucerne. You can walk alongside the Train. Where you get a astonishing view over the Innerschweiz. The most hiking trails are accessible with wheelchairs and strollers. But if you want to go hiking you probably want to chose an other mountain.

Was an awesome day! Never seen so beautiful landscape. Good place for family day trip. The restaurant on the top of the mountain is great!

Very beautiful place to visit in Switzerland. Mountain train is highly recommended to visit. It takes 1.5 hrs to reach here from Luzerne or Zurich. There are very few services after 6 pm so check the same before you visit. few eateries are there on the top of the mountain.
