I am Italian and the pizza at Nino is on of the best you can get. Highly recommended. Also the price is super fair.

Our experience this day at Pizzeria Eigerplatz was awful. The service in general was very rude. My son and I arrived around 8 p.m. with the idea of enjoying a good dinner at a nice place, after walking around the area we decided to eat at Pizzeria Eigerplatz Da Nino. First they did not seem to like the idea of serving a local beer, insisted on an italian beer; but since we are visiting Bern want to try local beer. Also the person in charge came to our table and asked if we were going to eat too, which we confirmed.
When we decided to share a pizza, the waiter said we can not share! They said "One pizza per person", even though the pizza was clearly large enough for two people that weren't too hungry to share. The restaurant will not serve only one pizza, so I asked for a salad, and they agreed.
I feel there is discrimination for tourists at that restaurant. I would definitely not recommend a visit to a place where you will feel not welcome.response / report this review -

So far the best pizza in Bern. It is mostly only for take away, but has a small sit-in.
