this one is worth a visit if you're interested in the topic. it's a selection of old medical wax recreations of real cases. the archive belongs to the university and is just one room, but very densely filled. not suited if you feel unwell in the realms of dermatological extremes.
A unique museum with a collection of amazingly lifelike medical casts of various diseases. I've never seen anything like it. The models are fascinating and horrifying at the same time (for me, the full-size cast of a diseased baby stood out in both departments). The entry is free.
I would not recommend going here if you are easily disgusted. But otherwise, it's very interesting. Not to mention educational!
who knew that skin disease could be such a hoot?
