  Highly recommended to take a boat or ferry for enjoying the beauty of the lake. There are no frequent services. Please check the time table before you travel.

  Boat tour should be a must while ypu are in Lucerne, there are different tours so first check it out before you choose one. Great views, beautiful surroundings, turquoise clean lake water.. Couldn't ask for more.

  Be careful paying by card. They told me that the card wasn't accepted after correctly putting the PIN just because the machine didn't print a copy. I told the woman that the card was accepted and still she said I had to pay with cash because no copy were printed. After paying by cash and claiming and showing the successful retention. She told me that it will be compensated automatically.
  
  This happened on March on a Sunday at noon.
  
  Anyway claimed via email to the company lakelucerne.ch never got an answer.
  
  Obviously this was a fraud. Pay by card. Didn't worked now by cashand then they say that the only receipt is your printed fare. They should jail the responsible of this company. First time I was cheated in Europe.

  I can highly recommend to everyone who visits Luzern to take a boat tour on the lake. You see small viallages, great views & have a lot of fun!

  We took a nice boat trip across the lake. It was worth it. You can have a beer and watch the nature from sea!

  Normally I would give this an enthusiastic 5 star but unfortunately we were given the pier 7 how were we to know that the sequence of piers is from the bridge pier 1 ,2,3 ,4 5, 6 but that pier 7 was before 1 on the other side of the lake across the bridge. Suprisingly oddly labelled fore the usually organized swiss !

  Take a Taxi from here when you go to Albnach with 4 person. Is more cheaper than by Boat
