Compared to the Maestrani chocolaterie in Flawil, this place pales in comparison; however, it is also less expensive and the staff here is not as friendly. So, I suppose you get what you pay for.

Conversely, the chocolate choices are fancier like the type of truffles available (Grand Marnier, champagne, etc - 9.50 CHF FOR 100g, 22 CHF for 250g, respectively)

The biggest negative, though, are the unpleasant staff members. The older ones just looked grumpy, not wanting to answer questions, and just *tolerated you," as they put it. I was offended how one of the older ladies was happy telling her other older friend that she had refused to allow me to sample one their truffles that they had run out of. Further, I had seen them offer all the other customers a chocolate after their purchase, except us. We aren't Caucasian like the most of Switzerland so I can't help but think that that may have been a factor.

Either way, good chocolate, poor service.

Grumpy staff, over priced, great tasting chocolate.
Like most "outlets" in Switzerland these guys too have missed the concept that an outlet offers products at a greatly discounted rate.

Overrate chocolate brand, specially cause I don't like to consume Palm oil instead of cocoa butter.

We had a visitor from Australia that wanted the chocolate experience, and we love this brand of chocolate, so finding they had a chocolate factory tour was a perfect fit. It's super easy to book a tour on their website, and the price of admission for an adult is only 15CHF, great value considering the tour is about an hour long.

Our guide was Patrick, a friendly young man with great knowledge of the business, a great sense of humor, and was happy to answer any questions we had along the way. He did a wonderful job.

The tour starts with where and how the cocoa beans are found and processed, all the way through the different parts of the chocolate making, including a few tastes (the chocolate fountains are amazing!).

The tour doesn't show the way the chocolates are decorated etc, this particular plant just does the processing of the chocolate, and it's shipped off to their other plant that does the decorating. That'll be another tour for another day. Not a lot of chocolate places show you this part of the chocolate making, so it was a welcome pleasure to see.

Included with the tour is a 5CHF discount off the store at the end. With lots of items already discounted. We walked out with full bags!

Overall a great experience, would highly recommend it.

Lovely place. Everything is very new. Eat as much as you want from the chocolate fountains and sample many types of their chocolates. Beware: the first fountain is very bitter! Tickets are 10 CHF but you get a 5 CHF voucher for the gift shop.

We were there as a group and they took us on a tour to demonstrate how they make chocolate. It was great! There were three places where we could try the chocolate which is so yummy.
