Very helpful gives you a nice plan and pointers in understanding how tourism works in interlaced. If passing by interlaken, make sure it's your first stop.

Gorgeous city. Gets a bit to quiet in the evenings, but there are a few cozy pubs & bars here and there or the Casino open late. Nice to walk from side to side and lovely for shopping & window browsing during the day.

Start here when you visit Interlaken! We were overwhelmed by the trains, cable cars and trails before coming. A wonderful woman in this office gave us terrific advice AND sold us the tickets.
She even recommended a great local restaurant for fondue - Restaurant Barren.
