Beware of fake reviews. Never ever eat in this dingy exorbitant horrible low scale place. I had ordered Black Daal Makhni which was prepared bitter as well as tangy & sour. The Nepali service person kept insisting that this is perfect but we had to shun the entire portion of it as we never ate it. The Nepali service person took it to the kitchen & brought it back after adding some butter. But the horrible taste never went away. We had to keep it aside & had to content with the other gravy instead. That Nepali service person told me that there was something wrong with my taste buds & that I should get it Checked. He told us that it was a perfect gravy as always. Even after shunning the complete portion entirely, the Service person added it to our Invoice. We duly paid that without even saying a word. There were Hardly 3-4 persons inside even at the peak time from 20:30hrs to 21:45hrs. Whereas other restaurants just outside this iconic Taj Mahal Indian Restsurant were completely full. (Just to give you a fair comparision). Go for other Indian restaurants in Interlaken.

Well we ordered two bryani and one butter chicken and two cola bottles. Guess what ? The only that tastes is the cola. Part of that is bad. I will never come again.

Surprisingly brilliant. Saw an Indian restaurant at a popular tourist spot in Interlaken and thought the food is going to be not very authentic and of a poor standard as well as being spectacularly over-priced

Well, I was pleasantly surprised on all fronts. Lovely meal and the Chicken Biryani was very nice. And that's me as a very fussy eater! Good service and a lovely setting make this even better
