  Although the place is small but nice, the personnel was awful. One of them spilled a glass over my friend's back. Not an apology, nothing. When I mentioned that maybe he should apologize and offer a drink to my buddy, I got an angry face. I drank a regular beer (Carlsberg, tiny bottle for 9 bucks, but hey we're in Zurich). Suddenly I got a completely different beer. Appeared they ran out of Carlsberg. Maybe they should tell me that and ask whether I would like something else. Simply arrogant and poorly skilled folks.

  Tucked away under the tao's restaurant. Crowd is on the younger side music okay not too experimental and more pop/rnb. Air can get very stuffy given the smokers smoke anywhere.

  Great place for drinks in the central area. The place is cozy and with bigger space than other bars in the city. The scene is more retro but the music is more on the pop/R&B side. Bar tenders are friendly and the crowd is basically a mix of locals and expats.

  Were there with a group of 10 people, good m/w mix. Experience was horrible: Tiny, crowded, unfriendly and ruthless staff. Spent a decent amount. It took the bar staff half an hour to bring bottles and glasses. Insufficient amount of glasses were provided. No "after sales" service at all. Bouncers are ruthless bullies. Like Taos a lot but ICON is horrible. Don't go there.

  DO NOT go here. Bar staff are extremely rude and arrogant, don't know how to make cocktails at all, and is expensive. An absolute joke of a place.

  At Icon Club I had the worst clubbing experience in Zurich.
  
  Not only it is totally overpriced for the venue and what it has to offer, but the lack of a smoking free making a very hard choice for any non-smoker.
  
  Entrance price 25 francs, drinks 20 francs. The club is divided on two floors. The 1st floor is 60 square metre smoking lounge. The 2nd floor (also 60sq metre) should, in theory, be a smoking free place but many people were smoking anyway. Given the very low ceiling it make it very hard to breath too. When I went to look for someone to ask whether it was possible to ask the people to stop smoking in the non-smoking lounge, I was answered it was normal and that it was not their duty to do so.
  
  For sure I will never return to this place again.
