Google walking maps made the walk across the river from the train station to this hotel just at the end of the covered bridge VERY frustrating.
Once we found the hotel, we found it to be a great and quiet hotel. The only issue was too many tourists in the hotel dining areas (and in town) and a leaking shower door that flooded the bathroom floor every time it was used.

Located next to the Kappeln bridge, its a beautiful location, outdoor patio in the late spring and summer. Great food and rooms

Features a nice riverside restaurant. Food was good. Service was good, even on a busy weekend. Prices are high just like in most of Switzerland.

We ate at the restraunt. Lovely shady seating right next to the river with picturesque views. Very good staff and lovely food - especially fresh local fish. Would love to come back if we're ever in Lucerne.

Great location, with fantastic views (some balconies) overlooking the chapel bridge. The reception desk is at the "back" of the hotel, since the restaurant immediately overlooks the river. There is an elevator to all floors for hotel guests. If you use the stairs to get to breakfast, there is another stairwell to the restaurant that you access from outside the hotel.
The rooms were a decent size, but definitely had some noise and air flow issues. Our in room fan shut itself off in the middle of a very warm night.
The staff was personable, and were always cheerful with a greeting as we walked by. The higher floors seem to have less street noise.

Was a good hotel. Though it was pretty expensive and not worth that quality. However I can't say relatively to Swiss prices if it still counts. Hot rooms and not great food. I guess good enough for a might stay.

Fantastic hotel at a great location. Very friendly staff, great breakfast. I'd love to stay again one day. If there is a drawback it is parking. No parking available nearby. Nevertheless, public transport is in near proximity.

Great location. Rooms are simple. Breakfast is only ok but the coffee, at least, is good.

The rooms themselves were pretty basic, not huge. However, our balcony made up for that. We had a gorgeous view of the chapel bridge, so we spent most of our time on the balcony. The restaurant was very modern, breakfast was delicious! Great hospitality.

Very nice place to stop for beer and snacks outside on the water. Very busy area but all the people are friendly and eager to talk. Great tourist place to capture the day.
