Price way to high for the standards of the hotel/restaurant. Free on site parking. Pets allowed with a 15chf supplement. Modest breakfast. The view is what may give justice to the price.

Unforgettable/Unvergesslich; Stopped in the parking area on 14th November 1965 - see photo - to thaw my hands on the engine of my BSA 250 motorbike, en route Basel - Haifa via Genoa. The road up to the Gotthard Autoverladung in Goeschenen was a bit scary on 2 wheels, due to hard packed snow, I made it to Chiasso that evening.

So for the price this place should be great, unfortunately this hotel absolutely was terrible. The room smelled like smoke. Pillows were flat. Super small room. Paid 160 euros for this. Highly disappointed. Only good part was the view.

Service is quit good, the lady was nice buth nog as professional as we expected. The prices are to high.
