The apartment and location is amazing and awesome. Really amazing views with snow covered peaks right in front of your house. The apartments themselves are very well equipped and spacious as well
Unfortunately one guy at the reception ruined our whole experience and behaved as if he was doing us a favor instead of hosting us. Other staff at the hotel were fine but the 1 guy at the reception had some kind of an attitude problem with us don't know for what reason. He was really pathetic and if I was rating the place Only based on him I would give it a zero star and ask for a refund. Britta, the other person at the reception was exceedingly helpful and nice which kinda help mitigate the other person's crude behavior.response / report this review -

Lovely hotel. We came to Grindelwald with another hotel reservation but promptly switched to the kirchbuhl. Nice people, gracious service, comfortable rooms, and yes, the Eiger view.

This place is great!! Gorgeous rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. The food is fantastic!! The views are to die for. Hot water with good pressure. Where they could improve: wifi signal is weak and internet can be spotty, also the restaurant employees are scattered and seemingly untrained.

Family owned hotel of four generations; traditional style with traditional (read: excellent) service. The restaurants have a fantastic selection, and the rooms are well appointed. We will stay again, bank account willing.

Would not recommend if you are not German, Swiss or Austrian. Just like almost everywhere in Switzerland, they do not like tourists and nobody wants to help with anything unless you keep asking. Most likely you will get answer in German even if they understand English very well.

Almost a perfect hotel except for the poor internet service. Not very good signal coverage on my balcony for my 2 iPhones. And it could be very very slow sometimes. Only 1.5M for downloading and less than 1M for uploading. But Everything else is perfect. Room, Staff, Food are all great!

Friendly staff , excellent hospiality, Perfect location , good food and very Nice rooms:) stayed here for 4 nights . Only minus is that we booked 1 extra night and that turned out to be very expensive . But all in all its totaly worth it and we are absolutely staying here next time :)
