Our stay with Hotel Palace Luzern was a pre-extension stay as part of our booking with a Viking river cruise. This is a beautiful hotel. We were very glad that we were given a room overlooking the lake. Magnificent view. Breakfast is great, service and attentiveness of the staff is great. Room is very clean. Can be walking distance to downtown. Hotel provides bus pass if you prefer to take the bus. I highly recommend when in Lucerne.

Palace Luzerne is about US$600/night, so pricey but most things in Switzerland are rather pricey. Hotel has great views from the rooms and I always felt every member of the staff was always more than helpful.

I have stayed at a lot of 4-5 star hotels in Europe and the showers and bathrooms were always tiny. Big bonus for palace Luzerne was the full sized shower and the nice roomy bathrooms. Also, the hotel has a nice cigar lounge with a good selection. About it thing bad to say besides the price is the room AC is not very strong. Had the AC on Max output for 3 days straight and still did not get very cold in the room.

From arrival to departure staff and setting scored beyond expectations. Room lakeside was just as advertised. Buffet varied and delicious. Linens are divine and sleep was a breeze hopefully returning again soon

The hotel is very lovely and is a nice location on Lake Lucerne. Our room was on the 6th floor, was quiet, unique, and had a wonderful view of the hotel Montana. The service is extraordinary, the food is unlike anything I've had, except the creme brulee, which was the best I've ever had.

Highly recommend this hotel. It has absolutely everything one could wish in a 5-star hotel. Everything from the entrance to the hotel until the bathroom in the rooms has been planned with great details. Guests might notice that the owners have not only invested money, but also time and passion into this hotel.
