  My trip here occurred last november, after a long flight from San Francisco, I drove up from Zuerich, light snowfall and and darkness looming, its a great drive. The reception greeted me with warmth and a smile with my late arrival. I choose this hotel cause of its history and location, its family run, which in my opinion guests want in 2017 and onwards. With the snowfall not stopping I woke up with a snow covered view of all the surrounding mountains, I have visited this hotel previously in the summer time in years and its as spectacular, cow bell ringing, fresh summer air, hikers and bikers filling the streets. This hotel offers a lot of amenities, from a hotel bar, to a night spot downstairs with live music, to a great spa, to a great restaurant with different kind of settings, either out on the terrace where you can people watch or back in the restaurant where you feel you just at home or upstairs in the fine dining area. This hotel is for me is one of a kind from start to finish. Can't wait to get back!

  Shows 4 stars hotel on the wall,but location is the only one good thing. Old decoration of the room and smell so wet. Not so comfortable to stay.
  American style breakfast, a egg and piece of bacon per person, very poor buffet is included.
  when i have breakfast, there were about 70 people in the restaurant and the bread baskets were empty, waiter said "not possible" to refill and every customer "only allowed "to have a piece of bread. wooooow what a ridiculous 4 stars hotel, totally not worth!

  3start hotel and 5 star prices. Low ceilings, dark rooms in most of he hotel. Poor breakfasts. Service and location mean it's not a 1 star.

  Old school hotel, dusty carpets, many stairs, ski room outside, keep attention to park your car on the hotel parking => you need a 4WD, very bad snow cleaning service!!!! (my car made a 180 turn on ice), nice disco in the cellar

  Free on site packing. Good restaurant at the hotel. Next to the train station and supermarket. What else you can ask for?
