Altes Hotel mit sehr rustikalem Charme . Meine Matratze war so alt das ich komplett darin versunken war und eine etwas schlaflose Nacht hatte . Der einzige Pluspunkt war das sehr freundliche Personal . Zimmer renovieren dann passt das !

I only picked this hotel as I was in a hurry to find accommodation for a contract I started across the border. After 2 days and nights, I was on the hunt for another hotel.
Never again!!
Total craphole and massively overpriced. The owner sits around the bar 18 hours a day every day, drinking himself into a stupor with his pals, his dolly-bird grand-daughter is a lying little gyppo cow, more concerned with her gaudily blingy dresses, varnishing her 3" nails, applying her lime-green lipstick and Snapchat updates than actual customer service, worst of all the so-called internet connection must be dependant on an old style 33.6kbps dial-up modem from 1998, shared over what30+ rooms???? Yet SHE has no problem with said Snapchat updates.

I was not a fan of this hotel. For starters, the picture on the homepage of their website has been PHOTOSHOPPED! It is not a single standing building with nice open air around it. It is surrounded by big concrete buildings on several sides as well as behind the hotel. (FYI, that's called false advertising). Also, the rooms felt dated even though they have clearly been renovated. (even though the rest of the hotel hadn't been) The hallways wad worn out carpet, the floors were 'springy' and the whole place smelled like smoke because smoking is aloud in the restaurant bellow the rooms. The elevator is also a product of the last century as it does not have in interior door. As the elevator goes up, the wall goes whooshing past. If you have small children who put there fingers in everything, take the stairs. The breakfast was included in the room cost but was only okay compared to the breakfasts we've gotten at other hotels in the area. To top it all off, this hotel is right across the street from a train station which would normally be okay except we had to sleep with the windows open because the hotel did not have air conditioning or fans. (something we expected and got at every other hotel at or bellow this price point) Basically, it was not the most restful night sleep. Also, everything seemed broken. The rooms mini fridge didn't work, several lights were burnt out, and the provided hair dryer over heated and stopped working after less than a minute of use. I know I sound like i'm trying to find every little thing wrong with this hotel, but I genuinely did not have a good experience at this hotel. We only stayed here one night, but had we planned a longer stay, we would have still checked out and found a new hotel on the spot. This hotel might be okay if you're trying to catch an early train, but after the false advertising, broken appliances, overall smokiness, and the loud night 'sleep' I will never stay here again.
