Site touristique de Loèche-les-bains. L'hôtel et restaurant Astoria. Construit en deux phases : 1970 et 1980. Capacité de 30 chambres. Emplacement central à quelques pas d'une clinique de rhumatologie et de réhabilitation. Et d'un téléphérique. Un personnel très accueillant. Des menus typiquement régionaux. Salles spacieuses. Parking en sous-sol.

Gebäude und Zimmer sind zwar alt, aber keinesfalls schmudelig. Ganz im Gegenteil: Matratzen bequem und alles, auch die Ecken, ist sauber. Dieser vintage retto Stil mit Leder beschlagenen Türen und die alten Möbel könnte manch einen gefallen. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Und wir hatten super Abendessen, gleich neben dem riesigen Kamin während die Kinder in der Spielecke spielen und mahlen konnten.

Looks like it was renovated long time ago, in 90's I'd say(not functioning radio station for the toilet paper roll, telephone, fridge). Family room was quite nice with beautiful view. Small kitchen did the favour, fridge still gives the frost, and oven - the heat. Nowadays we need more power sockets available for charges. I liked the soap bricks they serve with instead of liquid something for hear and body, haha. The breakfasts are just standard minimal ones, with only tea or coffe being hot, the croissants were good. WiFi was surprisingly good, as well as nice underground parking.

While the decor is dated, the breakfast bar is great and they have a kitchen in the rooms if you stay for a while and you want to make your own food to save money.
