I liked the available wine selection, though it was a bit strange to wait twice: in the queue for food, then for the drinks.
pretty cool - both sports and concerts, my favorite venue in Zurich
Great venue except for hockey, can not wait until the new stadium opens.!
Watched ice hockey here. Easy access, good venue. Lots of food options.
Saw Hans Zimmer perform here, the sound was sometimes difficult but not too bad. It's not the most comfortable place to see a concert as people are completely packed in.
Needs more entrances since 2 is not enough for big concerts
Best Halle in Switzerland! For Religious
, entertainment or informations.
Speaking for concerts: Sound quality is barely ok, security concept is terrible, how they handle entering the main floor is bad, bottleneck the people down in the basement. I think that can't be very safe in case of a panic or firepolice safety-wise. Food diversity is terrible and very overpriced.
I was there for a concert. The Stadium is huge and you hear the sounds perfectly. Its well organized . Indore you can buy drinks and to eat. Loved it!
Hallenstadion for concerts and events is quite good around 3 to 4 stars. However the stadion is mainly for Icehockey. So I went there to watch a hockey game but it was not how I excepted it to be because first of all the food and the service was terrible. By terrible I mean that I ask the workers something and they just say overthere or something totally wrong. Now many will say it's a miss understanding but it's not, because although I live and come from Canada I lived in Switzerland for 7 years and I am also 1/4 swiss so I speak german and swiss german. The second point why it is bad is because there is that seperation between ice and seats. The seats are also bad for watching hockey because they are way to closed to each other so don't have space for your legs and you can't see anything because the person infront of you is way to close so it blocks your vison.
Second time there, super organised and super easy to find your spot. Awesome
Great entertainment venue, big and spacious with good facilities. Did not have to queue long for anything.
Since this is a multi-purpose hall, I have to mention that I was visiting a concert in the hall and that my review is based on that experience.
Let's start with the good points. The catering, if you want to call it like that, is well organized and you are able to order and receive drinks and food with almost 0 waiting time. If this is always the case or we were just lucky ? I don't know, the concert was sold out and the hall loaded, so I assume it's realy good organized.
But that's almost everything about the good points. Seriously the security control is way out of the ballpark. Okay, I accept that it is necessary but seriously guys, do you really need to control the key chains, wallets and everything ? - okay, you take your job very serious, fair enough.
Access control to the "infield" includes ticket scanning when you walk in and out of the infield ? Why ? Excpet of bothering people, I don't get the point All what it is good for is to extend the time it takes to leave the place. It's even worse at the concert end. All people have to leave, using this tiny exit - Lack of planning ?
Overall, I think there is only one chance that we will visit the place again. There has to be the one and only chance to see a great magnificent concert We never felt comfortable at the place. Secure for sure but never comfortable.
I had a wonderful experience here. I saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I saw them once before in the US, so it was very exciting to see them perform again in a new place. This venue is great, with super cool lighting!
