  What a lovely spot! We were hiking by and stopped for lunch. The setting, food and service were all very good. Also nice selection of local beers from the Val Verzasca. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

  We had a cheese plate, a salad, an excellent polenta, home made cake and panna cotta for dessert, which all were very tasty! Very nice and quiet place in the nature, almost at the very end of the Verzasca valley. Very special place. The owners are a young couple and you can tell they really love what they do.

  Ho cenato molto bene con amici in questo tipico Grotto Ticinese in cima alla Valle Verzasca.
  Costine di maiale a volontà con vino rosso della regione (riservazione in richiesta).
  
  Qualità, quantità e rapporto prezzo giusti ed equilibrati.
  Il giovane gerente e la sua compagna sono molto simpatici e gentili.
  Ottimo servizio.
  Possibilità di giocare a bocce, campo adiacente la terrazza.

  Mi son trovato a Sonogno per caso, dopo esser stato al ponte dei salti, e fin dall'inizio la struttura di questo paesino mi ha piacevolmente stupito. Nel mio camminare, ho incontrato le indicazioni di questo grotto e ho ben pensato di cenare.
  
  Un'esperienza molto positiva sia dal lato dell'accoglienza che della location in sé. Il cibo, poi, fa storia a parte: delizioso, ben preparato e servito con molta attenzione.
  
  Ho mangiato una polenta concia (divisa in due porzioni) e un salamino di maiale, voto 10/10. Si sentiva il sapore di ogni ingrediente!
  
  Fra le proposte, ci sono anche le "costine a discrezione".
  
  Che dire: lo consiglio vivamente sia per la location (immersa nel verde) sia per il cibo e l'accoglienza!

  Cozy atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff, excellent locally produced cheese and a tasty Minestrone. Whenever you take a walk up Verzasca Valley, you shouldn't miss this lovely place.
