Excellent and very friendly service. I needed passport photos taken which was done professionally by Samuel. As an armature photographer, I appreciated some of the technical information he shared to ensure that I got the best possible photo. I was even offered a glass of wine while waiting for my photos to be processed. I highly recommend using their services! Thank you guys!!!! And I hope to see you at Debbie's Table soon. :-)

Absolutely one of the best shopping experiences I have had so far. We went to the store to get a new charging cable for a point and shoot camera. They not only were able to get a new cable for us, but tested it in store to make sure everything worked. They quickly found out that it was not charging and by using multiple chargers were able to confirm that the battery was dead. We were able to go ahead and order a new battery in the store as well.

While we were there, we also checked out the flea market they run in front of the store and found an absolutely amazing deal on another camera. The second hand stuff is definitely worth looking at if you stop by this store.

The employees were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to get us everything we needed. I would highly recommend this store to anybody.

Grundsätzlich gehe ich lieber in Fachgeschäfte als im Internet zu bestellen. Auf der Suche nach einem Fotofachgeschäft stiess ich auf Foto Morgenegg. Der Entscheid, dort etwas zu kaufen, war ein grosser Fehler. Ich habe ca. 300 CHF mehr bezahlt habe als bei einer online Bestellung - was ja in Ordnung wäre, denn ich bin bereit, für Service zu bezahlen. Jedoch wurde mir die Kamera unvollständig ausgehändigt - kein Ladekabel, keine Bedienungsanleitung, offensichtlich geöffnete, gebrauchte Ware. Und dann der lapidare Kommentar, wo denn das Problem sei, Ausstellungsware sei ja wenigstens geprüft. Ah so. Nachdem mir der Verkäufer stolz erzählt hat, dass man die Kamera zu Demonstrationszwecken auch zu Boden werfen kann, weil sie so stabil sei. Und dann, als ich mich beschwert habe, wurde mir unterstellt, ich wolle ja etwas erreichen und ich habe ja nun das Kabel bekommen und alles weitere könne ich vergessen. Und dafür muss ich 4x persönlich im Geschäft vorbei, dessen Öffnungszeiten nicht gerade einfach sind für Berufstätige. So viel zum Kundenservice. Zum Glück ging es "nur" um eine Kamera mit Objektiv im Wert von CHF 2'444.00.- und nicht um die grosse Ausrüstung. Ich verlasse dieses Geschäft mit wenig Freude an der neuen Kamera und dem deutlichen Gefühl, dass der Chef sich ins Fäustchen lacht weil er eine Dumme gefunden hat, die ihm seine Ladenhüter und Ausstellungsware zum vollen Preis abkauft. Wohlgemerkt nachdem mir gesagt wurde, ich müsse warten, man müsse alles neu bestellen. Ich ging davon aus, ich bekomme neue Ware. Selten bin ich von einem Chef so herablassend behandelt worden - die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich. Meine Lektion für mich: im nächsten Geschäft grundsätzlich misstrauisch sein, auf neue Ware bestehen, und VOR Bezahlung alles kontrollieren. Ich war zu gutgläubig und habe alles im Voraus bezahlt. Rein rechtlich könnte ich auf einen Austausch in Neuware bestehen, aber wer garantiert mir, dass es dann auch so ist? Vermutlich bin ich selbst Schuld, dass ich mich nicht vorher informiert habe, was es auf dem Markt gibt und was aktuell ist. Aber halt: dafür bin ich ja in ein Fachgeschäft - um mich beraten zu lassen. Fazit: Foto Morgenegg ist zu meiden.
