Malheureusement je m’y suis déjà rendu par deux fois. En plus de devoir s’y rendre pour de bien mauvaises raisons, le lieu est austère et n’aspire pas vraiment au recueillement.

THE LIFE AFTER DEATH CAN'T DIE BY 13 SWORDS
THE BLOOD NEVER STOPS WORKING
I love Mondays! The only reason being is because I get to spend quality time with my family. This is our day- I throw my mobile phone into a corner, no meetings are arranged, no meetings with people either because this day is exclusively for my family. Every Monday morning, my son MJ loves to play on the roof top and for some reason, he’s quite fascinated with our old washing machine. He gets excited to throw in the clothes, push the buttons, and simply watch the clothes spin in circles. The whole point of the washing machine is to clean and remove every stain from our clothes, and when it’s done- we expect the clothes to be spotless.
I use this narrative because I remember studying 1 John 1:7 and reading about the Blood of Jesus that cleanseth us from all sin. The Word “cleanseth” in Greek means to make clean, cleanse from dirt and physical stains, to be free from defilement of sin and wickedness, to purify from wickedness, to free from guilt of sin, to purify. The best part about the Greek tense of this word ‘cleanseth’ is, it denotes a present constant action.
In other words, the blood of Jesus is constantly at work, cleansing us as we confess our sins. Many times in our walk with God, we find the enemy bombarding us with accusations as we fail. The enemy is always quick to remind us of our failures, our weaknesses, our lack, our broken promises the list could go on. But now, every time he tries to come against us, we need to remind him of the BLOOD OF JESUS that never stops working and is always cleansing us from all unrighteousness.
The blood of Jesus is powerful! Every time the enemy tries to throw something at you, you have every right to remind him of what the blood of Jesus has done for you. Every time you put your faith in what Jesus has done for you on the cross of Calvary, the enemy stands powerless with his lies and accusations. Stop living your life with guilt and shame but overcome the enemy by the blood of Jesus.
Application: Think of a situation when the enemy has been coming against you to make you think that God is angry at you. Now replace that by seeing the blood of Jesus washing away every guilt, sin, condemnation, shame, and pain in your life. And in turn He is replacing it with His righteousness, peace, joy, strength, love, power, and authority.
