Great place to search for all kinds of stuff at cheap prices
Maybe one of the largest BROCKI in Switzerland. Everything is well sorted by item type. Nevertheless the coszyness factor is missing.
Loads of old stuff, you'll need a few hours to go through everything.
Loads of stuff but the extremely unfriendly staff makes it a horrible experience.
Great place to get nearly anything for a few francs. Stock changes constantly and a few times I've come I haven't found anything useful. Also, if your not picky you can end up buying stuff for more than it's worth (though at most you lose 5 francs). Despite that, it's my favorite shop in Zurich!
The best second hand shop I've visited. It's huge! Basically it's an old car park filled with categories of used stuff. From books, to vinyl records, to electronics, clothes, basically everything. Nothing can cost more than 5 chf and generally it's even cheaper. Awesome! Always a fun experience.
I visit here a lot. More than I feel comfortable admitting really. I love the idea of a bargain - and you don't get that feeling too often in Zürich :) Brockiland is a cool secondhand store housed in an old underground carpark. If you've got hours to troll through books then it's perfect. Even better if you speak German then your choice of books explands. There are tonnes of homewares, old sheets and towels for well craft, costumes, whatever you can use old sheets and towels for. Lots of old bags, ties and belts, and a decent supply of boardgames. If disturbing portraits of clowns or stone mosaic wall hangings are your thing, you have hit the jackpot.
Everything is priced at 5chfs or less. There wont be prices on each item, you just have to budget 5chfs for each thing and hope to be pleasantly surprised when they ring up your tally. Random, but I am usually very happy with my total. Take some hand sanitizer with you. I alway feel a bit skuzzy after sorting through stuff here.
