We had a beautiful time with the ski club in the Beau-Site. The friendly staff and the skiguide really looked very well after us and food was excellent. A real "bijou". We will be back next year. Christel

Firstly, lets get the bad-stuff out of the way. Driving here at night is scary, especially at 3am, but having driven from Luxembourg and before that from London, that was unavoidable. Also, reception closes at 10pm and so does check-in technically.

But that's part of the whole deal I guess. As Londoner's, we're so used to instant gratification and getting everything instantly, that perhaps, we needed to come to somewhere like this.

We phoned the hotel to let them know we were going to miss check-in and they left the keys in an easy to find location so we could get to our room. It took us a few minutes to get our bearings, but once we found our way in, it was near total darkness, so the kids were quite scared. However, from that point onwards, this place is spectacular!

The room is awesome, probably the best we've stayed in and beats previous highs in Paris and in Bhurban, Pakistan. But waking up the next morning was the real surprise. The views are just awesome and the family fell in love.

The staff were brilliant with a nice breakfast and really helpful in helping us find our way around. Adelboden is a complete culture shock for a Londoner, but one you have to experience.

As a quick pointer, if you have Halal or special dietary needs, just call ahead at the hotel and you'll find them helpful. There were some things on improve on, but perhaps that's more cultural and would take away from the overall experience, but the good is sssoooo good, that I have no hesitation in giving a 5-start rating!

Lovely hotel with pleasant family feeling. Staff and manager always welcoming and helpful.
We were on half-board and restaurant was always helpful in proposing alternatives when the menu didn't meet our wishes. The buffet breakfast was extensive and very good.
The room was great, with fantastic views of the Lohner and Wildstrubel massifs. I'm not a fan of baths with shower-curtains, as they're impractical to take a shower in and I found the housekeeping a little sloppy with relics of the previous occupant left in the fridge and the need to go down to reception to ask for supplies (hence one-star off).

However, a great place to stay. Adelboden is a great place to be, with a fantastic selection of walks and excursions in front of the hotel.

An excellent hotel with a very friendly staff. Great attention was paid to one of our group who had an eating disorder. Had a very comfortable room facing south over the valley.
