Luzern's rail terminus with connections to main centres. Just walk out and you are connected to the very efficient local bus system. A pleasant walk away is the Lion Monument and other places of historical interest. The station has easily accessible parking and has several levels for a quick or relaxed eat and shopping. All said and done, a station which is not merely a bustling and efficient station.

Decent station with plentiful train movements. Quite a size Market plaza/ shopping zone in the basement, eateries, fine dining on first floor besides ready to eat/drink shops on the move at the ground level. Helpful Train Information displays, tourist info office, luggage lockers etc are some of the major points at the ground level.

The best thing about this train station is its location. It is situated right on Lake Lucerne on the edge of the old town area. So convenient!

The workers are so friendly. I like this place because clean and comfortable. I just feel quite awkward because men and women have to share the same toilet. But overall it is a nice train station.

If you're arriving on the train into Luzern, like most European places, you're in for a treat. The train station is really easy to get around and it's quite a magnificent structure itself. When you walk outside, it's incredible. Definitely a place to stop in and take a look, if you happen to be passing by the area. Right on the lake, you can hop off the train and relax in a picturesque location. I can't think of many places you can go and it be so beautiful, surrounded by breath-taking views of the European city and the mountains.

What's not to like. Swiss order. Easy to operate ticket machines and some great shops for coffee and sandwiches.

A beautiful building redesigned from the original by Santiago Calatrava Office. If you take a closer look you'll find beautiful construction details. It's one of the few dead end train stations in Switzerland, which gives a nice touch. The down hall is filled with shop for everyone's needs.

Very clean and clear signage. Plus a busy, but efficient office to make train reservations and/ or buy tickets. Staff speaks several languages. Also convenient access to the under the street crossings and shops underground as well.
