Very friendly and helpful staff. I had a very large room and there was also a large desk which made me comfortable to work for a couple of hours. Despite being opposite a Railway station there was no noise at all in the room. I really loved the breakfast that was very varied with premium quality products and well presented as well. Overall a great experience and I will certainly stay here again

I stayed last week for 2 nights, it was a nice and easy experience. I had seen on the pictures that there was a gym but I was impressed about the quality of the machines (I was taking part at a local fitness event and this was very important)
The location is perfect (right in front of the train station.
Great and helpful staff!

Boy is this a Gem in Shauffhausen!! Moderately priced, the room was very clean. I was by myself, and found the room to be very spacious. I would consider it spacious for 2. Pillows were the most comfortable I had in a hotel in a long while. Had cooling and heating in the room. Bathroom nice. Shower had great water pressure and hot water. Floors were clean and in great condition. Look new. Location is Central to everything ! Staff is fantastic and welcoming. Breakfast had a great variety from eggs, bacon and sausage to fruits and your traditional European Cheese selection, cerial. Coffee was of course great. Can't say enough. It was just a fantastic place would recommend 100%.
The one downside I would have really liked a dinner selection there. They don't serve a dinner and on buisness with my American Express is simply a waste of plastic. No one takes American Express but the hotel. I am told they charge the vendors too much so take your Visa, leave your American Express at home. There is also not a bar there to relax in. But there are enough places right around the corner if you like to kick back and relax.

Excellent hotel in a great location on the edge of the old town, despite being close to station no noise from trains etc. in hotel. Staff friendly and very helpful, would recommend and will use again in the future.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. My room was very comfortable and had all the amenities I could have needed. The location was conveniently located close to the train station and downtown. I would be sure and stay there again in the future.

Excellent location next to the railway station. Good clean rooms, with excellent facilities. Comfortable beds. The only problem was the overt drug dealing directly outside the hotel entrance!

I have stayed at this hotel on business many times over the past years; most recently just last week. I can not say enough good things about the Hotel Bahnhof and its staff. The front office team are absolutely lovely and very caring. In fact they make me feel like family. The location of the hotel is perfect for using mass transportation to/from Zurich airport and beyond. The rooms are very comfortable, particularly in the summer, as this is one of the only hotels in the area with Air Conditioning. There is a wide variant of fresh and delicious food for breakfast. Can not wait to go back, also with my family!

Very nice, clean and relaxed room. I thought the proximity of the train would be an issue, and I noticed earplugs in the bathroom, but I did not need to use them! Breakfast was very nice and the service was very good as well.
Good idea to stay here if you have plans to come to Schauffhausen.

Easy location, friendly staff, comfortable and spacious rooms, and very kid friendly! My wife and I were traveling with a 2.5 year old boy via train. The hotel is directly across Banhofstrasse (the street by the train station). Note that it's across from platform 1, don't go the other way! Anyway, the convenience was important as we had luggage.

On arrival, the receptionist gave my toddler an adorable stuffed bear, which he's been carrying around ever since.

For a modest fee, the hotel also provided a crib. They had two sizes available. When we got to the room, there was another little surprise for our kiddo (hint, contains sugar).

The room was large and everything was in good working order. The bathroom was quite nice, though some might find the bath tub a bit shallower than usual. Morning breakfast was a cut above typical morning hotel food, and even included omelettes!

We were leaving the next day around 3pm, and check-out is at noon, but the staff let us stay until 2 instead, and kept our luggage for us until we wanted to get on our train.

All in all I would recommend staying here, especially if you want to travel by transit anywhere (Rheinfall, etc.(

Swiss trip was the first hotel.
Thoughtful consideration to the welcome gift to big way are really good. Next time, it will go to this hotel again. There are many breakfast and have so many delicious.
