  It's one of the two largest outdoor stores in Bern (with Transa). A bit pricy but good service and choices and some deals in the outlet.

  A great place for buying outdoor gear such as hiking shoes, windstop jackets, climbing stuff and skiing equipment. The sales people are very experienced and know what suits best for your plans. Furthermore, Bächli informs the costumers about recalls and malfunctioning stuff by e-mail. I think this is a big plus, since safety equipment should work properly. The drawback of the store is the so called "Outlet", prices are still very high (hiking trousers for 120.-).
  I recommend this store to people who want high quality gear with good aftersale communication. But better go to your boss first and ask for the raise ;)

  All you need for hiking and advanced alpine and high altitude sports. This shop has specialized section for high altitude climbing (6000-8000m).

  Helpful and friendly staff, all what your outdoor heart wants and a lot more can you find in the normal store part or in the outlet section.
