I arrived to Basel and the next morning had an eye infection (maybe from the plane pillow)? After two days using polysporin drops with no improvement, I checked with the Pharmacy at the SBB which referred me to Augenzentrum on the 2nd floor.
They were able to see me after only about a 10 minute wait, and the staff from the receptionist to the Doctor were able to speak English when my German failed me. They did several tests to make sure the eye itself wasn't infected or damaged and prescribed drops and a salve. Within a few hours there was noticeable improvement. I'm very happy with my experience here.
