  The best pastry shop in town. Strategically located on Charles de Gaulle Avenue in Pointe Noire, it offers a mouthwatering array of delicious cakes, pastries , coffees and teas. You will enjoy a well deserved break from the buzzing and hot city, served by skilled waitresses in lovely Congolese traditional costumes. The owner is always up for a chat and suggestions on the best cake of the day. Reasonably priced as well. We will surely visit again and again!

  Not your typical bakery, though they have a killer selection of amazing cakes and pastries. Priced competitively, the tiramisu and chocolate eclairs that I purchased tasted just like what you'd find in a good bakery in France. Quality ingredients, great taste. Strangely, this bakery also doubles as a "fast food" restaurant, where you can order a burger and fries, or a sandwich. My colleague liked the burgers, I just got the "healthy" junk food. La Citronelle's close proximity to the Atlantic Palace hotel makes it easy to give into temptation.
