New Restaurant La Valentina.
To our greatest surprise, we found out that the restaurant is no longer “chez Simon” but Italian managed “La Valentina”. Same decor and cozy space along the pool, the menu is completely Italian and so is the cook. The beautiful surprise was being greeted with two glasses of prosecco and bruschetta from the house. We then opted for a fresh and tasty octopus carpaccio, a pasta dish and a risotto. Service was impeccable, quick and welcoming. The octopus fresh and beautifully served. Smoked salmon and almond penne was good and the risotto sauce divine. My only regret is that the rice was slightly overcooked. Not a dramatic mistake if you consider the extremely good value for money and the distinguished Italian touch of the menu. Next time we will definitely explore some fish main dishes. A beautiful venue for a quiet and comfortable dinner among friends after work.response / report this review -
