Anyone visiting Goma, I will recommend this hotel
This is a paradise on earth! The hotel is on the shore of Lake Kivu and located in a very quiet area of Goma.
The welcome is professional and the personnel makes you feel at home. The room's equipment have the content of a typical European 4 stars hotel.
Afraid to dip in the lake? There is a swimming pool. It's easy to book one of the two clay tennis courts. The bar is cosy and some beautiful exotic birds wander freely in the hotel garden.
My room had a balcony overlooking the lake. The sunsets and sunrises are absolutely gorgeous.
Free Wi-Fi is available to the hotel guests.
I will certainly stay there again!
The location us beautiful, right by lake Kivu. Service not so good, bed was uncomfortable and the wifi, the only give you a code for your floor, meaning if you leave that space you are out of range and off
Located on the lakeside, amazing view, stocked up bar, good restaurant and all modern amenities available. Good for a luxurious stay right at the border of DRC and Rwanda. The pool is another additional facility which is not so common in hotels in Goma.
The service is excellent
warm welcome and is a safe place to stay in
Nice hotel with good environment and testy food.
Not a bad hotel to stay at when visiting Goma. Safe parking and the staff are help full. Food is good Try either the Fish or the Chicken. Meals served around the pool area makes for a enjoyable setting. Felt that the hotel could could offer the option of a Sunset cruise on the lake with sundowners as a option to see both Goma & Rwanda from the lake. Rooms as very basic and the decor is out dated, however with the aircon and basic facilities its not a bad place rest if you are only spending you evenings there. Watch the ladies of the night who try to market themselves actively as the night progress' closer to closing time. English not well spoken, if you can speak French then you will not have a problem communicating. The General Manager is doing a great job at rying to improve things with in the limited budget he has and is always willing to help.
Worn down and expensive, staff slow and sometimes cheat with the bill. Almost only place to enjoy a pool though.
Lovely Sunrise and the view of the lake is magnificent
Nice place to stay and for weekend recreations by the lake Kivu
Very Interesting place.
Great service
Awesome place to swim, play tennis and hang out!
The hotel is Superbly and lovely, you can't imagine such a beautiful hotel at that rate. Very lovely indeed
Wonderful tuna salad with salmon fillet. Enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake Kivu.
Wonderful service, clean rooms and nice staff. The breakfast is absolutely fresh and amazing.
Just by the lake, meals are well prepared and their staff are quite professiinal.
Ihusi Hotel, the best hotel in Goma, staff are friendly, the Owner Mr. Vanny Bishweka, the good person i never seen in DRC, security is good as is nearby Boarder, food is excelent, tennis area to play and view is 👌 , to Lake Kivu
Ambience & Prompt service.
Efficiency in Hospitality at its Best. And where?
Beautiful place away from home. Staff is very friendly
Ihusi Hotel is the one of the most breathtaking treasures of Goma. Few days ago, I went to Ihusi Hotel for breakfast. I paid $15 for an open buffet breakfast. Though I was expecting assorted varieties, the food in itself was good. I had my breakfast with my eyes glued on Lake Kivu and on Ginseyi, which lies on the other side of the lake. The waiters were polite, friendly and helpful. They seemed to be proud of the hotel they work for and I think, they are right to feel so. The infrastructure, surrounding and service at Ihusi Hotel was beyond reproach. I am not in a position to evaluate more aspects of the hotel as I have not spent a night, so far. But, as a one-time visitor who had breakfast at the hotel, I will not hesitate to recommend the hotel for its breakfast.
One of North Kivu's best hotels. If you complain about the accommodations you won't last long in Congo.
A decent hotel right at the border of Congo and Rawanda on the banks of Lake Kivu. Excellent location( see pic)
