Our 10 year old Basset Hound got mauled at their facility by a bully breed- the attack went on long enough that it tore through the skin through the muscle and into the actual flesh. We were out of Province when it happened, but we're told that he would be fine and that we would have to pay out of our own pocket for the vet bill, which was 1000 dollars. When we argued that we weren't going to pay for it and that they should because he was under their protection, they tried to say that we signed a waiver stating that anything that happened at their facility would be on us ( we would have never signed anything that said this, because of you are getting paid to watch our dog it's on you if they get hurt). When we asked them to see this waiver, because we didn't remember signing anything like that, they couldn't come up with it and thus had to pay. They were apologetic at the end, but couldn't explain to me how an attack went on for long enough to do this much damage. My Basset Hound is old, he howls and sniffs and have NEVER had an issue with any other dogs, he played with a boxer x pitbull when he was younger and never had an issue. We would never ever recommend this place to anyone who values their pets, because it was very clear that they weren't watching our dog.
Our dogs love it at Paws! Christine is great to work with in training your dog as well.
No disappointment when we leave our little munchkins here. Christine and her awesome staff do a great job looking after our kids and they know how to tire them out!
