  I’ve been seeing Dr. Spence Pentland and Dr. Laura Cahill at Yinstill for 3 months or so now and my husband sees Junko. I cannot recommend Yinstill enough, especially to those on their pregnancy journey. Infertility is an obstacle that this team is up to the challenge to beat! Through their holistic, patient centric approach, I leave each appointment feeling more hopeful, informed, supported and warmly cared for. From Chantal at reception, to Dr. Pentland and Dr. Laura and Junko to all those I’ve encountered while there, I believe they truly care about how my husband and I are doing— their personalized touch and taking the time to talk to me and connect At every visit makes all the difference. 5 stars without a doubt.

  Our journey to have a baby was very long almost 13 years. My periods started when I was 11 years old and use to have heavy bleeding for 7 days. I got married at the age of 25 years and since then we started trying for a baby and never taken any birth control pills but no luck after few months we decided to see our family doctor from there we came to know that my husband's test reports were normal. He referred me to gynecologist who did my leproscopy and found mild endometriosis in my left tube but he didn't do anything to clean it as he said he didn't want to damage the tube and can get pregnant with one tube as my right tube was totally normal. Still no success after couple of years one of my friend told me about Chinese herbal medicine for which I used to go to Chinatown Vancouver to the registered Chinese herbalist and had that herbal medicine tea for a year but no pregnancy than I stopped taking that . Again I went back to my family doctor to send me to another gynecologist for second opinion and than this second gynecologist did few cycles of ovulation pills and than decided to do another laproscopy in which she found endometriosis heavy growth in my left tube plus on my ovary. Next treatment she decided to put me on temporary menopause Injections for six months as endometriosis is related to our periods and if I don't have periods for few months it will clear that endometriosis lining from my left tube after this treatment was finished she did another laproscopy to check and still found some and she burned it and cleared up everything. But after few months of trying I still didn't get pregnant than she did another treatment in which she injected my husband's washed sperm on my ovulation day into my uterus and she did 2 cycles of this treatment but still no pregnancy than she recommended us IVF. We went for IVF treatment and had one fresh cycle of embryos transfer still no pregnancy again we tried with frozen embryos still no success again third try with frozen embryos this time I got pregnant but had miscarriage at 5th week of my pregnancy. But didn't gave up I started doing research on natural medicine for infertility and came across yinstill YouTube videos and made an appointment with them, there they prescribed me there in-house fertility supplements (Quality, balance) and some pre-natal vitamins, Omega 3 and weekly acupuncture and this time I conceived with in two months all natural. I conceived at the age of 38 naturally with the help of acupuncture and their in-house supplements and had weekly acupressure throughout my pregnancy. Never had any issues during my pregnancy all normal. Finally I'm a mom of healthy baby girl. So grateful to Dr. Spence, Sherry, Dr Fisher, Jugo they helped me a lot throughout my journey. God bless the Yinstill team of experts.

  I am here holding my one-week old son thinking if it’s not for Dr. Pentland at Yinstill, I wouldn’t be so lucky to have this little wonderful bundle of joy in my arms. I got pregnant after one-year consistent treatment with Dr. Pentland. His support and dedication to his patients makes this unique clinic really special and helpful for people like me with unexplained infertility. I know! It sounds scary but “unexplained” could be “unchecked”. Dr. Pentland has provided me so much positive energy and perspectives throughout my treatment before and during my pregnancy . I feel so lucky to have found this place and Dr. Pentland. His help went beyond my expectations! His team is professional and passionate about what they do! Most importantly, they genuinely care about you and that’s something money can never buy!! Going to my treatment and talking to him has become a necessary routine for me and it was so healing emotionally and physically. I would recommend this place to anyone who struggles to become a parent and thank you Yinstill and Dr. Pentland for the wonderful journey!

  Lara is THE most amazing and talented acupuncturist I have come across. She is also such a pleasure to be around, very warm and caring, and offers amazing info for those struggling with fertility. She is a SUPER gentle needler and always calms my nerves since I have had some bad experiences with other clinics in the past.
  Dr Pentland is also awesome. I really enjoyed the book he wrote - Being Fertile. It was very informative. He’s also a gentle needler and a great, down to earth type of person.
  I’ve really enjoyed my time at Yinstill thus far.

  I have been coming to Yinstill for more than 2 years off and on. The staff has been extremely helpful. More importantly the sessions I have attended have been amazing and really beneficial in reaching the goals i set for going to Yinstill. Highly recommend.
