Awesome place to walk or run! My wife and I call it duck island. Never crowded. Hidden gem. Also called the bird sanctuary. Floods when there is alot of rain.

Also known as the Bird Sanctuary. A great walk if you're in the area. Others have said it, but it can flood at times, so it might be worth timing your visits around that. Gravel trails with a couple bridges, but pretty flat and easy to navigate. There are some benches to sit on and watch the birds. Love it.

Beautiful scenery. Always wildlife to see. Parts of the trail floods during the winter months so bring your boots!

What a lovely park. Lots of birds and wildlife to see. The trail was very well maintained and clean. There were many pleasant people walking around and the scenery was just beautiful. A very easy flat surface with a loop that can be walked leisurely in just under an hour. Great walk with the dogs!
