Went in to play vlts and have a drink. Service was reasonably quick and always pleasant.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It looks pretty shoddy from the outside, and it is pretty old - but the rooms are a fair size and kept clean. Beds were comfortable. Despite the hotel having a bar connected to it, the rooms are quiet. The doors/door frames on the exterior could use some work, but other than that I have no complaints. Note - there is no front desk service during weekdays until 11 am.
