  Merchandisers should be more carefull with their full trolley specially when people around, I was nearly hit. Feel not safe in store anymore and not comfortable shopping there. Why they merchandise at evening when is so busy and crawd??? Do it at night time.

  I've never really been impressed with this walmart. While I don't use walmarts very often, I've always found their food (in particular their produce) to lack selection and be poor quality. The rest of the store often has empty shelves and when they aren't are pretty messy. I know it's a low cost producer but I always expected more from them.

  The unfortunate thing about shopping at Walmart, is that since Zellers, Target, K-Mart, Woolco etc, all shut down, Walmart has become the only game in town in terms of an all around department store. Outside of the higher-priced stores like Sears and the Bay, they have the monopoly, and their lack of professionalism and management recently proves it. The inventory levels are poor year round, they generally staff only a couple of the 15 or so tills, and staff have absolutely no idea about anything outside of "their department". Honestly, they don't know their own departments either. Since it's not a membership store like Costco, the recent practice of checking receipts at the door is a massive waste of time and not even legally binding. People have places to be, and unless we're cattle heading into a chute to be tagged, it's just a hold up, especially on busy days. I can imagine the hell at Christmas if this continues. Perhaps these checks have more to do with the practice of being too cheap to provide bags under the guise of being concerned for the environment. It would be a shame if someone at the self-checkout chose "zero" and then used two bags right? News flash: if you buy 40,000 nickel bags from Walmart they'll gladly sell them to you, environment or no environment. Come to think of it, I should have just given them one star. Ahh well.

  At Walmart in MB Canada are asking for you to show your recipe then put a line on it. I call head office in ONTARIO they told me that it's not a Walmart policy to ask for the recipe if your stuff in your bag. Only if your stuff is not in a bag. We as Canadian are not thief

  If I could rate this place in the -numbers I would. Managers would rather sit on their butts in McDonalds for over an hour than help customers or their employees. Does not follow regulations for t4 slips, still waiting a month later with multiple attempts. If you apply here, just know that your hours will sometimes be below 12 hours, even though they promise at least 12. People that have worked here for 5+ years maybe see a dollar or two more than the new hires. They DO NOT hire full time, cause they don't want to put the money in for benefits. If you need a day off, it's like pulling teeth. Once you quit, every time you go back in for shopping or to see the decent coworkers you get either major attitude from a manager or just plain ignored by them (I am actually thankful for being ignored). With your hours, one day you'll be closing, next day opening so you get maybe 4 hours sleep. Instead of giving you 2, 6 hour shifts, they give you 4, 3 hour shifts, so your chances of saving money are little to none cause you're making minimum wage with no availability for a second job. This Walmart in particular is a freaking piece of work that I hope gets shut down.

  I bought a $129 dollar LEGO set on sale for $65 and put it to the side for my four boys. When we opened it weeks after we found that most of the set was missing and that someone had refilled the box with, tissue paper, cardboard, and random broken action figures.
  When I went to return it , I didn't have a receipt (it's LEGO! what could be wrong with LEGO?). The only thing that WalMart would offer is an exchange which works out well in their favor since the item hasn't been on their shelf for weeks. No store credit. No other LEGO set. Basically the only thing they gave me has another opportunity to disappoint my children.
