  such an affirming spot!!
  i first came in august to purchase my younger sibling a chest binder with my father as an early birthday present. there were a lot of pins, zines, patches and much more to affirm the disabled community, (mostly autistics, which i am.) the lgbtq+ community and much more. i walked in and immediately felt safe. if i ever come up to halifax again, i will definitely visit.

  The most inclusive store ever, so inviting & safe for all humans. The goddess who helped us was wonderful (so sorry do not know their name, but they had a stunning afro & beautiful striped dress). 🗝💕

  Wow. Incredible spot.
  I came out to a close friend as trans masculine, and they brought me to Venus Envy to get my (first ever) binder! My friend also doesn't fully align with female traits so we got ours together.
  
  The service in this adorable nook of a shop was so amazing, special shout out to Mo for helping us get set up with sizing and everything and being such an incredible help. They truly made the store feel like such a safe space to be, and they also gave me all sorts of information about transitioning and where to go regarding that stuff.
  
  Me and my friend are under 18, so we only looked around the front part of the store, but looking around they had so many available resources for transgender people (youth specifically) which has proven difficult to find here in NS. They have a wide selection of books created by and for queer people, and I'm so thankful that we found a spot that is so judgement free!
  
  All in all, if you're queer and haven't visited Venus Envy yet, it's a must-go. They even have some of the cutest enamel pride pins I've ever seen, which is an added bonus.
  It's a 10/10 for me!

  Absolutely love this store!! Great selection of books, fun stuff like stickers, and of course other things as well! Super great service, and incredibly helpful staff, especially during covid. Have done two orders via social media during the pandemic and cant believe how easy they made it for me. I recommend this store to friends all the time
