Description

On an annual basis 1,500 students register for private music lessons and group classes and camps at the Conservatory of Performing Arts.

The Conservatory offers private instruction on a variety of instruments in a range of musical genres from jazz piano to classical cello to musical theatre in our voice department. We have some of the best music instructors in the city and many work as professional musicians and some even with the Regina Symphony Orchestra.

Our group class programs include Kindermusik, a Child/Parent String program, Scottish piping and drumming, youth string orchestra, indigenous arts, musical theatre, the Conservatory Juventus Choir, and many more! In 2015 we started a Creative Preschool that runs 5 days a week for ages 3-4. There are opportunities for preschoolers to seniors and beginners to amateurs. Find the right fit for your skills and abilities!

Registration happens ongoing throughout the year for private lessons with group program registration taking place: July 15 (for Fall classes), November 15 (for Winter classes and camps), January 15 (for Spring camps), and March 15 (for Summer camps). Check out our website for information about current course offerings and new learning opportunities!

In the fall of 2016, we will be moving our classes to three new locations as our 2155 College Avenue building receives extensive renovations:

1) Palliser Office Building (2151 Scarth Street - hours of operation on this page reflect our Administration Office hours, building hours can be found on our website)
2) Westminster United Church (3025 13th Avenue)
3) First Nations University (1 First Nations Way).
