Attention Members at Copper Terrace LTC in Chatham:
Further to the information provided at our recent membership meetings, the Union has filed two policy grievances against the employer regarding the announced layoffs. Despite the letters stating that their layoff would begin on July 18, 25, etc, the Union has just been advised by the employer that the posted schedule remains in effect until August 10, 2018.
Those members slated to work tomorrow, July 18, 2018, are to report for work per the posted schedule.
