  Joel Conroy is a true professional and an excellent tattoo artist. He did a custom tattoo for me and he drew it beautifully and it looks awesome. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

  I live in NB but heard about the great work of True North Tattoos from family in Kingston. Jen was so helpful in arranging my appointment and the final result was fantastic. Felt very comfortable and felt I could ask any question that I needed answered. Professional and so pleased with the result. Keep up the great work True North!

  Thanks to Jen for the great work she's done for me. While I was getting a new piece done today, a little old British lady came in for respite from the cold and Wayne made her a cup of tea and gave her some cookiesTrue North is truly awesome!

  Best place in Kingston by far; have always and always will go there! Have had work done by both Wayne and Jen, both extremely talented artists and amazing individuals! You won't be disappointed!!!!

  Wayne is an incredibly talented artist. I love everyone of my original peices by him. I bring him my idea and I trust him to create. He exceeds my expectations every time. He is worth the wait!
  
  The rest of the staff is awesome and I love chatting with Jen. Check out her work as well, her work is stunning. Kingston is lucky to have such an awesome shop!

  Very friendly, and the place is great - great atmosphere, cleanliness and professionalism.

  Absolutely excellent work, Wayne and Jen are amazing at what they do. Shop is very very clean and welcoming. They also have huge hearts and have donated their time and money to an annual animal rescue fundraiser. Their work is precision and beauty intertwined and you can't go wrong chatting with them. Also very quick to reply to email, message, or to answer the phone. Customer service A++

  No hesitations in giving True North Tattoo a 5 star rating. The shop is clean, organized and inviting. As a health care worker, I admired the high standards of cleanliness upheld at this shop. Wayne was flexible in his scheduling and booked me in very quickly. He is professional, respectful and a very talented artist. He graciously allowed me to have company during my tattoo and understand the importance of keeping clients calm and happy during the tattooing process. During my appointment, I had the opportunity to see some of the incredible artwork displayed in the shop. Wayne made the entire appointment comfortable, entertaining and enjoyable. I feel very fortunate to have been a client here and look forward to returning in the future.

  So glad we got in to see Wayne. He was very patient with nervous me and fabulous with my mum, who at 88 years young, was the oldest client he'd inked. Love the two small tattoos he did that I'd wanted forever. Busy place but very professional and a great atmosphere.

  I came to Wayne to complete & fix a terrible half done full-sleeve. Not only did he do a fantastic job, he made you feel comfortable. The place is very clean, and from the way Wayne works, you know they take sanitation seriously. Wayne's rate is $150/hr, to some people this is a lot but his work is WORTH it. The quality of work will outshine any artist in Kingston (never had a tattoo done elsewhere so I can't compare it to other cities).

  My daughter and I were travelling to Kingston from Happy Valley, NL for Mother's Day weekend 2015. We really wanted a tattoo while we were there and my daughter loved the tattoos that True North had posted. Jen did everything in her power to get us in and we were not disappointed.   I had an amazing experience here ! Jenny was so professional, sterile and a perfectionist ! After all my pickiness and in my head she was the best I would recommend anyone to go to her she takes the time and makes sure everything is perfect! Very caring always was seeing if I was ok during an 8 hour session. JENNY I LOVEEEE IT !

  I came to True North with a simple an idea for a tattoo. I discussed my idea with Wayne and together we created a tattoo design one could only dream off. Wayne is a true professional and an unreal artist! I highly recommend this place to anyone in the Kingston area

  Collaborating with Wayne & Jen was brilliant. It was a super positive experience for my 3rd tattoo after a 17 year hiatus. These artists are awesome at what they do -their genius is well worth the trip to Kingston. Highly recommended for 1st timers & tatt connoisseurs alike.
