Wine pairing with food. . .A must!
Le menu dégustation avec le service de vin et toit simplement sublime ! A goûter les yeux fermés !!!
Menu dégustation et accord vin-mets de haut-niveau comme on peut s'y attendre de ce phare de la gastronomie québécoise.
Loved the seating at the bar. Comfy chairs and personalized service by all the waiters. Less stuffy.
Try the Caramel crisp with wild ginger sorbe and ice cream - and berries!
Try the Tomato sorbet with assorted Quebec cheese - Tomato crumb, Tomato jelly, and Tomato fruit paste
Try the Roast Squab - Little domestic pigeon raised in one of two farms in Quebec
Try the Fois gras with corn cream - Quebec maple syrup, corn stuffed brioche and fried quiona.
For sure one or the best restaurant in Montreal. The tasting menu with the Paring wine is AMAZING. The look after every detail. When I saw the La Guiole knifes for the meat I said just WOW
Un des meilleurs restos de Montréal. Très bonne bouffe, grand choix de vins. Serveurs très efficaces et respectueux. Essayez le menu dégustation. Addition salée, mais la qualité en est à la hauteur
The pork shoulder was magnificent.
I was not satisfied with Toqué after spending 450$ for 2. The sommelier was an idiot and we got a horrible wine, contrary to what we asked for. The food was average not all dishes were great. Don't go
GL Socialvore, Marc of No Recipes, says Toqué is “inventive enough to be interesting yet they never sacrifice taste for the sake of creativity.” To learn more about Marc, visit live.gourmet.com
Montreal High Lights Festival - Anne-Sophie Pic (France's only 3-Michelin-star chef) at Toqué! on February 18th and 19th -- it'll be worth the $300 ticket price.
This place, renowned all over the world, has but the need for yet another comment... No comment. You might fall from your seat ;-) Enjoy!
