Spend a good 20 minutes waiting for someone to come to our table, as multiple others came in after and got served immediately.

Taking a drive, enjoying the wide, wonderful prairie landscape to Lake Diefenbaker. Stop by the Gardiner Dam Information Centre and find a busy cafe tucked in the back. It's a beach-front cafe catering to beach-happy tourists, so there is no "ambience" but the view of the lake, but the food is fantastic! Mushroom burger for me and a super-duper club sandwich for my wife. Marvellous stuff! We kept seeing other orders go by and wondering if we ordered the best meal. We sure wish they were a bit closer to home to give their breakfast a try. The staff deserve a combat bonus. Bustling long weekend crowd, but they kept on the hop, smiling all the while. There will be another visit someday!

The best food west of Winnipeg! Six Buck Breakfast, Harv's Burger is one most don't survive. It's big and delicious! The staff are friendly and there's a visitor's center there with lots to see!
