Very attentive wait staff, always kept my water glass full! This place has the best chowder in a bread bowl. Every time I come into Banff, I have to stop here for my chowder bread bowl! To die for 😍😍😍

Stopped in for soup and a beer after a hike. Soup was delicious and the beer was cold.

The waitress was nice when we came in. My friends and I sat down and ordered their special platter to share. We asked for water and waited for 15 mins with no water. We ended getting it ourselves. When the food came, we didn't even get utensils and had to ask for them after 5 mins. The platter wasn't even worth the money. The onion rings looked like it was made 1 hour ago and they fried it up again when we ordered them. It didn't look fresh or appetizing compared to the table next to ours. Service wasn't good either. No one asked how we were doing. My friends and I noticed the other tables had good service and the staff constantly asked them how they were doing. We ended up not tipping because of no service and the waitress just rudely walked away when she saw the receipt. HONEY, you gotta give service to get tips. At least drop by and ask how we were doing. The bar half block up was better than this place.

We were in downtown Banff looking for a place for a bite and a beer and came across Tommy's. I had a burger my wife had a beef dip. The food was great. Good sized portions. They don't have a huge beer selection but overall we were very impressed. The staff was very friendly and our food was served quickly

An amazing venue and performers. The bar was long enough so that everyone could order a drink without crowding even though the place was packed!

Unfortunately I actually had a pretty awful experience here. The wait for 4 steak sandwiches (the special that night) was atleast 45 minutes. The sandwich wasn't bad, the onion rings were good, buttt I did throw up twice that night. I'm not certain that the steak is what caused it, but I'm not certain it didn't. All things considered, I have been here before with a positive experience, as well as the other people in my group. I might still give it a chance next time I'm in town. Then again, there's lots of options in town.

Nachos are good. They serve the toppings in a separate oven baked dish then add sour cream, avocado, and jalapeños. Keeps the chips from getting soggy.
Beef burgers appear to be a frozen patty.

Great food. Casual booths and tables. Dark. Has outside seating but we didn't go there cause it's winter now. Had the platter with fries, onion rings, ribs, chicken wings, deep fried pickles and mozzarella sticks. Devoured it in no time. Waitress with Australian accent. Glad we stopped here.
