Always been my go-to for chainmail rings. I thought it was so funny when I learned they were in my backyard!

The website is difficult to navigate, especially when compared against modern e-commerce sites and even an Etsy store. I ordered on a Sunday and since all products were listed in stock expected a ship date no more than 3 days later. When I still hadn't received a shipping confirmation on Wednesday, I emailed customer service.
*Note - I did make multiple self attempts to try and figure out what was happening before reaching out to the company. As I mentioned previously, the website is incredibly confusing.
The woman who assisted me informed me there was a holiday to be accounted for on Monday and nothing shipped out or was prepped that day. This would have been fine if I had been notified at checkout or even via order confirmation emails. As it stood, I had no information about my order several days after purchasing. She informed me my order would be shipped Thursday. It did not.
On Friday, I finally received a tracking number. When checking the number, it's still in pre-shipment and the carrier informed me they didn't even have the package to ship yet, just the information.
An order from an Etsy store on Wednesday got here faster than this order did from 4 days before. I really wanted to be a customer in the future as the pricing is comparable and there is a rewards system, however I am not able to get past this lacking first impression.response / report this review -

Such an amazing company that I love to work with. I recently became active in the scale maille world and I could not recommend a better company than the The Ring Lord. Jodey and her team are extremely pleasant to deal with as well as expedient with shipping. Last but not least EXTREMELY reasonable pricing!

Customer service is out of this world fantastic. I placed an order late Saturday night (during burning man, which should be their off season!) and I asked for a substitution on the color of my scale mail. Around 10pm their time, I get an email from Jodey, kindly letting me know that she would take care of it and it's not a problem.
The following day I emailed her back because I foolishly forgot to include my apartment number on my shipping address. Again, a super prompt email (on a Sunday) just to reassure me that all is well.
This is my first order directly through them but I've used their scales and rings before and the quality is excellent. Their customer service is impeccable and I'm very much looking forward to ordering from them and recommending them to fellow crafters in the future!response / report this review -

Awesome Products! I've been ordering from this vendor as well as others. This is the company who stood out. They are detailed with their description, they have helpful information about what I need to do a project, and good shipping practices. This is where I go first when I need something because of how they've handled my orders and because of the quality of their products.
