  I usually love coming to this location as it's close and typically has great service and all the essentials I need. However, I recently ordered a window here and it is now becoming problematic. I was told it would be a 2 to 3 week delivery for pick up, at three weeks I called and was told it would arrive in another week. Three days after the expected ETA I am unable to get a new delivery date from the staff I call, I was told the manager would call me back but have yet to hear from them, and when I insisted that I need an ETA as soon as possible in order to insure my project time line would stay on track, I was told they might call back next week if they hear something. I planned for a week or two delay in the delivery, but now it looks like my renovations will be held up for months if my schedule on the window is not met. Had I known this would take so long I certainly would have shopped elsewhere, and I encourage others to be skeptical of expected timelines when dealing with Home Depot. More frustrating however is the lack of interest from the staff which has up to now been far more helpful.

  Wanted a quote to replace window on our garage. Called first to see if they even do single replacement. Clarified that it was one window needing replacement on my garage. Not only did the estimator show up 3 hrs late (while I was just leaving my house) but he did not even properly measure the window just looked at it and told me it would be $1800. Tried to get me to replace my house windows as well even after I stated they have recently been replaced. Top it off I am still waiting on my quote to be emailed to me as promised. Horrible service recommend looking around. I recieved proper quotes for 1/3 of the price and those estimators were on time and provided hard copy of the estimate.

  Worst service. After waiting around 10 min. and looking for help with stock cabinet at the front of the store, I finally flagged a guy whperson to assist me. Megan. I asked to see an upper cabinet base unit. She took me to a door hanging in the boxed cabinets aisle. I asked if there was an assembled example of an upper cabinet unit I was looking for, and without speaking SHE POINTED to the door-not a cabinet. I repeated the request, she then pulled out a box with picture of a base unit. When asked how it is attached to the wall she pulled out instructions (10 min to go through cabinet box) and said uh I don't know. She had no clue about cabinets. Waste of time I thought. I said okay that's enough have to go-workers were on the way to my home so I was rushing out after 1/2 hour of wasted time. On my way down the aisle I saw the old guy (incredulously same RUDE man in kitchen and cabinets department who told me a shower system was not available-which it was after I asked another employee) and he was as USUAL thumbing through a flyer, while customers were waiting, and when I told him that someone working in cabinets should know about their basic assembly- he tells me it's because she has no experience! So instead of helping her, or me, he glanced back at his flyer. I left and went to Lowes.

  Been here a few times. Once I needed PPE. Nobody knew what I was talking about but they asked around and looked it up on their computer which was really helpful of them :)
  
  The other time I was there the woman showed me where to find something right away. While I was looking at options another woman came and asked if I needed help.

  This is the best Home Depot in Edmonton by a considerable margin, in my humble opinion. The service here is absolutely amazing!

  This location rarely has anything in stock. I'm always sure to check the website before heading over. Should I have to call as well? If I could rate just the website that would likely be more appropriate.

  I needed to exchange a plumbing snake purchased earlier in the evening for the larger model, so I called the Westmount Home Depot and an associate spoke with a supervisor in the plumbing department about my problem. When I arrived at the store I spoke with the helpful associate who answered my phone call. He directed me to the supervisor whom he had informed of my problem. This helpful gentleman searched for the item I needed, found it up on a top shelf, got it down for me then processed the exchange. All this happened after the store had closed because it was 2 minutes to closing when I arrived. I really appreciate the help and will shop here again.

  A year and a half ago we went to West Mount Home Depot in Edmonton. To complete a project, we needed one single nut worth a few cents and we were having problems finding it. The lady from that department treated us like we were spending a fortune, by the customer service and time she spent to find that darn nut. She was absolutely amazing and as a result, I recommend anyone to go there. Thank you for that memorable trip to the store. She went above and beyond to help.
