Throwback Thursday to the 2002 military-inspired Hummer H2. This American SUV was a staple on and off the road, featuring a 6.0-litre V-8 powered engine and four wheel drive. Despite the over-sized dimensions, the GM built SUV was not particularly spacious inside, losing out to Range Rovers more sophisticated interior. While the Hummer brand was defunct in 2010, the series lives on as the Humvee C-Series built by VLF Automotive and is exported to various oversea markets.

Throwback Thursday to the 1999 Lamborghini Diablo, a high-performance mid-engine sports car capable of attaining a top speed of 325km/h. Diablo, meaning “devil” in Spanish was named after the ferocious bull raised by the Duke of Veragua in the 19th century, famous for fighting an epic battle with El Chicorro in Madrid. The popular roadster eventually inspired a new design, the Lamborghini Murcielago, which was considered a flagship vehicle for the brand till 2010. #throwbackthursday

Throwback Thursday to the 1964 ½ Ford Mustang debuted in April at New York World's Fair. This sporty classic came as both a coupe and a convertible and offered four engines (up to a 271- horsepower V8). Ford was only expecting to sell 100,000 Mustangs at the time, however, with it's increasing popularity managed to sell 320,000. In fact, demand rose so high that Ford build over 1 Million Mustangs in the first 18 months 💡

Throwback Thursday to the 1960 Chrysler 300F Convertible, the most dynamic high-performance luxury car from Chrysler’s “Letter Series.” The convertible not only featured unibody construction, it was light, fast and had enough space for four with a full-length center console. The four-speed transmission and 400-horsepower engine was a force to be reckoned with and remains one of the greatest luxury cars of the 1960’s.

Keeping in theme with our throwback supercars, the 1973 Maserati Bora is a 2-seat coupe powered by a v8 engine. This was Maserati’s first mid-engine car, debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March of 1971.
