We are in our fourth year at SCS and so far our fam is loving it. We have three kids enrolled, two in the middle school and one in high school. This place has a good sense of community, is casual and authentic. You don't find any of the pretentiousness that people expect in a private school, just lots of real people with real relationships with God, teaching and supporting and loving on your kids everyday. We also appreciate the diverse opinions regarding scripture and spirituality. This school isn't affiliated with a denomination or church, there are 250 different churches represented through the student body. We have our beliefs that we teach the kids at home, but it's good when they encounter people who maybe have a different theology, different thoughts on God. So long as it's God-centred, we are good, and happy that our kids can explore different ideas in a safe place.
