I support the reports of rude and uncaring "service". I have bought surgical supplies at Starkman's for an aged relation for several years and always had good service from the woman and man who looked after that department, but today went in to inquire about a wheelchair. My first impression was that my presence was annoying the man I spoke to. He compounded this with an irritatingly economical release of information. Every detail had to be levered out of him. When I asked him a couple of more technical questions based on an email from the therapist, he curtly denied any knowledge on the subject. Since this clearly was a bust, I said thank you and packed up my papers. He stood glowering at me until I left, giving me the impression he thought I might slip a wheelchair up my sweater unless watched.

Unfortunately, this posting page doesn't support "none" in its stars, but be assured I won't be shopping there much in the future.

My brother and I visited the store today (Sunday October 8, 2017) around 1230hrs. As soon as we approached the sales person and enquirer about incontinent pad, reusable and disposable and pointed out the package on the shelf. The sales person acted like he was annoyed that he had to attend to a customer. He was rude in his mannerisms (action) and his response (tone of voice). He took a disposable incontinent package and threw it on the counter. I enquire if he was angry, at which point his disposition changed. He attended to another customer who was enquiring about the same. I bought the merchandise since I needed it for today but I will never go back to this store and will make sure to spread the word around. I think the owners need to reasses the staff they are heiring or else it will be effect their business not the employee.

Starkmans has the worst customer service. Their website will tell you everything is in stock and ready to be shipped but, after your credit card has been authorized, suddenly everything has to be back ordered and delivery delayed for 3-5 business days. Then they'll tell you that, yes, while they offer free delivery, sadly their courier can't make it to your home before noon on ANY DAY OF THE WEEK, so your order will only be available for pick up. Seriously? They couldn't just put a stamp on the package and mail it?? Best Buy just mailed me a toaster oven that Canada Post dropped off without any problems, but Starkmans can't even arrange for delivery of scar treatment patches that would fit inside a standard envelope. Ridiculous! Starkmans should offer a free bottle of Aspirin with every order to ease the pain of the headaches they cause....

Horrible customer service, they couldn't care less about you or your problem.. Impatient when you ask how something works.. Prices are ridiculous, and their unapologetic no-return policy is beyond rude. I will never shop here again

My friend went there looking for syringes for his temporary IV. Online they have hundreds, in store they have absolutely none. Why isn't this information online so no one wastes their time coming in store to find items that are on their online store? Also the guy didn't offer to order any in or any solution, just "we don't carry it". He interrupted me a lot on the phone and was apparently quite rude to my friend for asking, apparently including yelling.

Couldn't even tell us, while looking at the IV, which syringe we would need if we were to order online. Least helpful people on the planet.

Awful customer service. Awfully run store.

Although I've bought several items by phone for my 95 yr old mother, It was the First time that I bought online. (Step Stools)Three months had passed before the Homecare Worker informed me that she could not use them due to large size and sliding. When I called with explanation I was bluntly informed that there is only a10 day return policy! No credit nor attempt to negotiate! Will never return to them again due to their lack of loyalty and interest to a returning customer.
Shoppers Health have caring staff who know how to listen and communicate., let alone reasonable return policy.

Have been in the store several times. Each time the staff appears irritated that you are bothering them. Simple questions or requests are met with lame excuses as to why they can't help you. The last interaction was a phone call today asking if they could look my name up to see if they have a record of the things I have purchased. I was told they would need and invoice number. If I had the invoice number I wouldn't need them to look me up. I asked if they could look the name up and they completely refused. If you look at the other reviews there certainly is a pattern. Manager claims he has addressed the issue but there are continual posts complaining about the customer service. Please shop somewhere else.
