Extremely short- staffed in the printing/ editing/computer rental department, initial staff member had no idea if a pdf could be transferred to "word" or if the rental computers could transfer them as well, He had a very imature and impatient attitude, "your paying for my time," he stated. I told him that Staples is paying him to work. I had to ask the manager for assistance, who had terrible public relations on the concluding statement but was initially professional. He will need an anger management course since he was impolite and could not accept a recommendation calmly. The female staff was great as all immigrant staff are amazing as well as the other immigrant staff who politely asked me if I needed assistance. The shopper's helped me with the rest of the editing, also the program on the computer wouldn't allow me to edit most of the first page of my resume, I had just transferred it from pdf to word.

Within minutes of shopping, I was asked by an associate if I needed help, yet I was not hounded by the associates. They periodically checked in me and were extremely friendly!

I'm all for companies making money but their rates for self serve faxing are ridiculous. $1/page doesn't sound like a lot but when you consider faxing doesn't cost them anything but the verification page (one sheet of paper and 6 partial lines of text) it's really rather insane. I can understand it a bit for long distance faxes but those rates are $2/page also nuts.
I know faxes are so two decades ago, tell that to the government

Ordered a desk from them, which was missing a piece in the flatpack once it was delivered. Staff were very courteous and tried to replace the piece immediately. Although I ended up returning the desk because a replacement part would take longer than I could (and entirely not Staples fault), the customer service was exceptional. I will continue to do business with them :)

Staff are generally knowledgeable here and are willing to help. Their prices are mid range electronics are often less expensive than the other big box retailer next door. They're open relatively late too, which is super helpful for students rushing to complete a last minute assignment in need of printer ink, paper whatever their science fair poster needs.
