Very expensive, good food
This place is a gem. Located right on the historic street of Fort MacLeod, it has a great view if you sit by the window. The interior of the restaurant is very quaint, as the building has been well maintained. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was amazing, well executed, full of flavour and beautiful presentation. The portion size is generous. I ordered the dinner for 1 (ginger beef, deep fried wontons, fried rice and stir fried vegetables).
My review is only based on what we ordered, since I've had had chinese food all week I decided to order something different this time and settled for a Burguer, so after paying $13 for a burger (without a drink) I expected a pub style burguer at least. I was wrong, I had two buns and a patty with a little lettuce and that was it. It was dripping with oil, I had to grab a bunch of napkins and try to remove as much grease as possible. The taste was horrible, nothing but grease. Needless to say I ended up only eating the buns since I was starving. The service has some room for improvement too. There was a total of 4 people at the restaurant and our order took a while, our server took a while to come and check on us and we had to go and ask for our bill. Im sure if we had ordered chinese it would had been a different story, unfortunately our experience wasnt great.
Located on main street in a beautiful historic building. Food was delicious and service was prompt and polite. Will definitely come again! Price and food amount was fair. We are until we couldn't take another bite.
Some of the freshest North American style Chinese food around. Very good service.
Any one who says anything negative about this place is crazy. Seriously. This is by far the best Chinese food south of Calgary. The food is perfectly flavored and the price is fair. The guy who said his portion was smaller than his ceral bowl? Remember he expected a horses ' trough' of food. Ew.
The portions are your typical giant aluminum dish piled high.
The silver Grill has the most exceptional service i have received in Canada easy. France is the only rival. Seriously. If you have a bad experience here its you. Youre weird. Youre the problem. I wish this place was closer to me.
Go today and enjoy.
Yup, nice place, good food.
Don't let the look from the curb turn you away
Inside is pretty good and comfortable
They have a really neat long bar on the east side of the restaurant that is interesting
Walked in thought it was an Indian good restaurant. Looked at the menu and figured that I would need to take out a small mortgage to pay for my meal for the quality and size of it. For 19.99$ ginger beef plate you'd figure you get a horse's troff of ginger beef but to my dismay it was a bowl smaller than my cereal bowl. Taste was bland. The only thing that saved this place was the nice service
Decor was dark and bland. The food was cold and dated. I didn't think much of it. The prices were quite high for the quality as well. Definitely had better but can't be too picky with small town western Chinese cuisine.
Service however, quite nice.
