Last week, the City of Montreal publicly announced the winner of the International Multidisciplinary Landscape Architecture Competition. Our entry, anno, was not selected as the winner, but it nevertheless received recognition from the jury for its sensibility and creativity with regards to the urban challenges targeted by the competition.

It’s game time! Yahoo Sports have partnered up with the NFL to broadcast up to 5 games per week on the Yahoo Sports app. They gave Sid Lee L.A. the opportunity to help launch it - so we went big and created a larger than life NFL music video with the help of up-and-coming LA based music duo, The Seige. Now, no matter where you are It’s time to “Show me the football.”

Le Cathcart Restaurants et Biergarten will open in late 2019 at Place Ville Marie. An immense glass ceiling will cover the space, which will house one of Montreal’s largest four-season gardens. The project was imagined by Sid Lee Architecture and A5 Hospitality and exectuted by the consortium of Sid Lee Architecture | Menkès Shooner Dagenais LeTourneux Architectes. An ambitious project by Ivanhoé Cambridge.
“The architecture of the glass pavilion will disappear to put the focus on the interior garden, a sun-soaked space filled with lush vegetation where encounters defined by food and festivity will take place,” asserts architect Jean Pelland, senior associate at Sid Lee Architecture.

Our Toronto team has created an interactive art installation for Hullmark to inspire love and community in the Ossington Area. The Emotophone at 50 Ossington helps you fall in love (again) using a famous questionnaire by psychologist Arthur Aron. Talk through the pipes and answer questions proven to foster quick connection between strangers.
