  They gave me glasses which I didn't need!! After having 20/20 vision for many years and being told at two different times that I had astigmatism in one eye that could be corrected with glasses but because there was not a huge need it was personal preference I went to this optometrist for the first time based on the good reviews. I was treated well but I was prescribed a prescription that I now know wasn't correct I still have 20/20 and said that I no longer had astigmatism (which upon google research is not possible). So I bought glasses while there and over 3.5 years I bought more pairs of glasses only for me to go to a new optometrist closer to my home and be told I not only did not need the glasses I was prescribed but that my astigmatism was worse then ever and I would be more comfortable with a pair of night driving glasses. This could definitely have been worsened in the time between check-ups but it didn't go away like I was told either.

  The staff here are friendly, efficient and professional. All covid protocols were followed and I felt they had safety as a top priority. The eye exam was thorough and they explained all the tests and results. Prices seem competitive with other offices.

  Professional and still very friendly and courteous atmosphere, top-notch staff, both on the medical and optician sides, and smiling office members. All that gives a patient a feeling of being welcome, and of a certainty that help is coming, and coming soon.
  The screen in the waiting room that features individual staff members' brief biographies is an additional touch of friendly welcome.
  But, most of all: these people know their craft.
  My personal experience: about a year plus ago I was almost blind. Now, with the SPEC's help (and a surgery arranged by them), I need glasses only to read (and to write this).

  Ive been coming here for nearly 20 years. The staff are so friendly. You can tell they all love their jobs. I don't usually like going to any type of doctor, but I look forward to seeing the team at Sherwood Park Eye Centre. They put me right at ease.
  
  I moved recently so their office is quite out of the way, but it's always worth the trip.

  Great precautions in place to keep everyone safe! Prompt and friendly service. Thorough eye exam with explanations of what was found. Amazing experience with picking glasses!! Able to find safety glasses for work and glasses for personal use! I highly recommend Sherwood park eye centre!
