  They rip you off sell you something online and say it’s real and it’s fake when you go to pick up. Very rude and disrespectful people. Waste of time and gas and don’t recommend this to anyone

  I used the services of SMS Ottawa and I am very pleased with the whole process that Cori and his team employed. Very organised, keen attention to details..addressing all aspects of the event so there are no issues. They not only sold my stuff, but took huge pressure off of my mind- all within a matter of three days- neat and organised from beginning to end. Also they price the items fairly depending on the condition, for the both side of clients while providing honest details so there is no confusion or surprises after. Online sales cant get better than that. I will use this company again and will recommend to anybody.

  Top notch all the way have been with them since day one, have done numerous on site and on line sales with this team. Constant professional curtious service always, Corey and his team can't be touched in there field of expertise you will find none better, highly recommended.

  Excellent service, very attentive and yep, you can get some very very good deals!!! Get there early!!! Be patient and stay the whole day if required to keep an eye on what you want.. End of day prices lower.. The guys and gals are so easy going, helpfull and knowledgeable!!! Really like the new On line events.Thanks.. Oh and bilingual service to boot!!

  When we were faced with the overwhelming task of selling all of our possessions due to a move out of the country, we didn't know who to contact. As usual, a simple google search provided me with lots of ideas and contact info. To make a long story sort, after an almost immediate reply from Corey Holmyard, we had a meeting time established. During our initial meeting, it became apparent that this business model would best suit our needs. Corey took the time to explain the entire process to us and not pressure us for an immediate decision, although we were already sold on his service. We listed and sold our home in a matter of weeks and then signed up with Sell My Stuff Ottawa. Our sale went very smoothly and we were so thrilled that ours was unprecedented in attendance and financial reward. For anyone who needs to relocate, downsize, clear an estate, etc. we would highly recommend Corey and his team at Sell My Stuff Ottawa.

  We can't say enough about how fantastic Sell My Stuff Ottawa is. We recently had them conduct a content sale and it came off without a hitch. The experience was seamless and most professional. Once you hire them, they take over and you are left with nothing to do but wait for the results. And the results not only met our hopes but far exceeded what we hoped for. Everything sold and we couldn't be happier. Don't look to anyone else if you need this kind of service and don't do it yourself.

  We are very pleased with the services offered by the team of Sell My Stuff. From the start to the end, they are very organized and provide exceptional workmanship. All preparations have been made professionally (staging, picturing, pricing, and advertising) to achieve a successful content sale at our house. We hired them to remove the rest of our stuff the next day and they clear out everything!

  I have made several purchases through Sell My Stuff ranging in size from a beautiful oak dining room suite, through small items for my kitchen. I LOVE it! What a great business and a great way to re-purpose STUFF so that it can remain useful.

  Giddy with exhaustion! I find the SMSO team to have exactly what it takes to get it done. Never seen anything compared to this to clear out your unwanted stuff. The treasure hunters lined up at 8 A.M, all the way down the driveway to take part in the sale. Some were complaining because they allowed only so many in at a time, but for safety reasons it made sense. Piles and boxes and bags were carried, dragged and pulled even some items in a little red wagon, down the street. Some said they heard about this in an email, and others said the signs near the Tim Hortons nearby alerted them of the sale.The prices were fair, and even though there are the typical hagglers, there was little need to deep discount most items. Corey's team left the premises clean and with a small hug, made my sale a success. There was very little left by the end of the day. by 2pm, I got an empty house with a fist full of cash, S.   Corey and his team are outstanding. They were able to turn a complicated set-up into a simple process. Letting go of things can be an emotional rollercoaster. Corey understands this and worked hard to make the ride smooth and fun. Highly recommended.

  I had my encounter with Sell My Stuff today. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I have been following the company through social media for awhile now and finally had an opportunity to attend a sale. I found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. Prices were accommodating and close to market prices. The quality of products were superb. I will definitely be closely following the website and hopefully use their services myself one day.

Corey and his team took care of everything, we were impressed with their professionalism from our initial contact through the actual sale, which was a success.   Short version - Sell My Stuff sold over a thousand items (literally) for us and did so professionally, efficiently and with a high degree of energy and enthusiasm. We heartily recommend them.
  
  
  
  We are the owners of the big country property near Almonte that had a Sell My Stuff sale on Saturday. As people who are looking to downsize, we considered a number of options to sell the truly massive amounts of furniture, art, antiques, toys, collectibles, dolls, silver, china crystal - you name it - that we have accumulated in 45 years of marriage and a lot of entertaining. Auction? Kijiji? Ebay? When Corey came out to consult with us, he was professional, calm and confident. We had no hesitation and immediately signed up for a sale. In the weeks before the sale, as we dragged more and more things from where they had been stored, we became concerned with how it could all possibly be displayed. Corey and his crew arrived on the Tuesday before the sale, and organised our big mess in an efficient and attractive manner.
  
  
  
  Two days later, Corey came out to price everything. We were particularly pleased that he was firm in letting us know what we could realistically expect on some of the more common items. After all, he does this all the time, and what would be the point of pricing things so high no one buys them? But Corey consulted us and took advice on the more exotic things that don't often come his way, at least in these numbers. I had over 200 dolls, doll furniture and teddy bears - some antique and some modern. We were able to work together to price them, and the majority of them sold.
  
  
  
  Unbeknownst to us, my sister came down from Toronto and attended the sale, as did one of our neighbours. So we sort of unexpectedly ended up with two 'secret shoppers'. They both made a point of telling us that Sell My Stuff deserved glowing marks for courtesy, cheerfulness and professionalism. Our neighbour was particularly impressed by how the staff was respectful of our house - making everyone take their shoes off and asking before opening a window. They were vigilant, we were told, in watching to make sure nothing walked off unpaid for. In fact our neighbour was so enthusiastic about Corey, his staff and the format, that she is all fired up to have them organise a sale for her.
  
  
  
  The advertising and contacts Sell My Stuff have must be great, because even though we are in the country, about 40 minutes from downtown Ottawa, we had over 600 people attend. We drove by at one point and cars were lined up down the road.
  
  
  
  While we didn't sell everything (I think we would have needed a week and two thousand shoppers to do that!), we sold a very high percentage of what was on offer. Even some 40 year old bicycles my husband has been dragging around from house to house, despite my best efforts to get him to throw them away. So you never know!
  
  
  
  I am at a loss to explain the negative comments posted earlier about the staff. We had five people working our sale, and they were all incredibly hard working, respectful, courteous and kind. I wonder if some of the comments earlier Posters justifiably found offensive were in fact being made by buyers, and not the staff at all.
  
  
  
  As sellers, we have no reservations about endorsing Sell My Stuff Ottawa to anyone who is thinking about getting rid of things, for whatever reason.
